We’re excited to announce the first annual ShoppingGives Social Impact Awards! This celebration recognizes our partners’ social impact efforts and the positive impact they drive each and every day for the causes that they care about most.
At ShoppingGives, our top priority is to create impact for charitable causes, and we truly couldn’t do it without the passion that our partners have for philanthropy. We love seeing how each of our partners choose to give back, and we’re honored to provide tools and resources that make it possible.
For this year’s awards, we had eight categories and eight incredible winners! Take a look at who’s taking home the trophies:
Social Impact of the Year Award - Fresh Clean Tees
The Social Impact of the Year award recognizes a brand that has made the most significant impact to the community by being the largest single donor within ShoppingGives’ Giving Economy. Fresh Clean Tees is awarded this recognition for going above and beyond to create meaningful impact for the causes that they and their customers care about, and through their giving efforts, enabling nonprofits to continue their mission-critical work.
Fresh Clean Tees, creator of soft, comfy, best-fitting premium t-shirts and men's basics, is a brand who truly embodies social responsibility. Through their online store, Fresh Clean Tees is dedicated to donating 0.5% automatically on every single order placed from their website to causes like the Surfrider Foundation. We always say that micro-actions lead to macro impact, and Fresh Clean Tees is embodying that sentiment to create a massive positive impact.

Change Makers Award - Sakara Life
The Change Makers award recognizes a brand with the most engaged social impact that is taking charge in highlighting their efforts among their employees, community, and customers. Sakara is awarded this recognition because they take their social impact efforts the extra mile by involving others in their giving strategy through heightened marketing efforts, whether on their website, social media, paid advertising, and/or through email marketing.
Sakara, a curator of organic meal programs designed to help individuals look and feel like their best selves, goes above and beyond when it comes to giving back and supporting the causes they care about most. Committed to making an impact, Sakara supports organizations like Wellness in the Schools on purchases made from their online store, and they love to highlight their impact efforts! Sakara integrates impact-focused messaging throughout their marketing strategy to take cause marketing to the next level and ensure that their customers are always aware of their giving efforts.

Innovative Impact Award - Chantecaille
The Innovative Impact award recognizes a brand that has integrated social impact throughout their customer journey in the most innovative way. Chantecaille is awarded this recognition for leading the way when it comes to utilizing ShoppingGives’ donation technology. By implementing multiple ShoppingGives giving features, they are able to create a custom social impact strategy that best helps them to meet their giving goals.
Chantecaille, creator of luxurious botanical skincare and cosmetic products, is paving the way in creative and innovative methods for creating a positive impact. Through their Beauty Gives Back collection, Chantecaille uses ShoppingGives’ Product-Level Cause Donation feature to create capsule-collection impact by setting specific products to support specific causes. They also empower their customers to add-on a donation of their own in the Checkout, if they choose to. By utilizing these features, Chantecaille is able to create a unique shopping experience for their customers, all while creating a positive impact.

Rising Star Award - Beast & Buckle
The Rising Star award recognizes the brand that is an emerging leader in social impact and has experienced the most donation growth since last year. Beast & Buckle is awarded this recognition for making significant strides in their social impact efforts, putting giving at the center of their business, and increasing the positive impact their brand was able to create this past year for the nonprofits they support.
Beast & Buckle, creator of reversible dog harnesses, dog collars, and designer leashes, is a brand that puts social impact as a top priority. Since the beginning of their brand, Beast & Buckle has donated over $50,000 in harnesses, accessories, and monetary donations to organizations that help both dogs and humans lead great lives. Through their website, Beast & Buckle donates 5% on every single order to causes like The Nala Foundation. This past year, Beast & Buckle ramped up their giving efforts and as a result, saw over a 2x growth in the amount of donations they were able to generate.

Diversity in Giving Award - TRX Training
The Diversity in Giving award recognizes a brand that supported the highest number of nonprofit organizations, driven by customer giving. TRX is awarded this recognition for taking social impact to the next level, empowering their customers to get involved with their efforts, and enabling them to support the causes they care about. As a result, TRX is able to create a positive impact for a larger number of unique nonprofits.
TRX, a supplier of world-class suspension training products, is committed to supporting the causes that their customers care about. Through their online store, TRX empowers their customers to search and select a cause of their choice when shopping through their online store. Just since October of 2021, TRX has supported over 160 different nonprofit organizations. By giving their customers the opportunity to support the causes that mean the most to them, TRX is able to create a more authentic and impactful shopping experience.

Adapting to Good Award - Christy Sports
The Adapting to Good award recognizes a brand that has adapted their giving strategy and engaged in direct response fundraising in the wake of current events and crises to make a positive impact where needed most. Christy Sports is awarded this recognition for going above and beyond to respond to the needs of their community by shifting their giving efforts as timely causes arise and using their power as a business to call attention to and take action for necessary change.
Christy Sports, one of the largest winter sports specialty retailers in the nation, is leading the way in responding to causes as they arise in real time to best support their community. While supporting organizations like the Share Winter Foundation year-round, Christy Sports is quick to shift gears and call attention to catastrophic events and times of crisis. In response to the wildfires that recently tore through Boulder County, Colorado, Christy Sports shifted their giving efforts to support the Community Foundation of Boulder County to raise funds for those who have been affected by the fires by donating 5% on all orders and matching the value of each online donation to further support the relief efforts.

Nonprofit of the Year Award - Feeding America
The Nonprofit of the Year award recognizes the nonprofit organization that was supported by the most ShoppingGives brand partners during the year. Feeding America is awarded this recognition for doing meaningful work each and every day that inspires our brand partners to raise awareness, fundraise for, and support their ongoing mission.
Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization fighting to end hunger across America, is making strides in tackling the hunger crisis that affects over 38 million Americans every year. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Feeding America has been a staple organization that’s helping those who have been affected by the pandemic. Between disaster relief, providing aid during increasing food costs, partnering with the National Guard to box and distribute food, and so much more, Feeding America is creating a nationwide impact that’s beyond incredible.

Tech Partner of the Year Award - Yotpo
The Tech Partner of the Year award recognizes a technology partner that created the most impact in the community through a partnership with ShoppingGives. Yotpo is awarded this recognition for setting an example for using technology for good. Through a collaborative partnership, Yotpo is helping to create broader opportunities for meaningful impact through innovative solutions.
Yotpo, a loyalty and referrals provider, partnered with ShoppingGives to create a unique and engaging loyalty program that combines the power of rewards and donations. Through this integration, brands are able to integrate charitable giving into their loyalty programs to drive purpose-driven purchases and increase customer loyalty. Our partnership with Yotpo empowers brands to reward their customers with reward points when they opt-in to select a cause and create a donation with their purchase, as well as when they choose to add-on their own donation to create an even bigger impact. Brands can also enable their customers to redeem their reward points for additional donations to charitable causes.
